What myhongkonghusband Thinks of Tiger Tail Soup

myhongkonghusbandToday I’m delighted that the very popular, smart, and funny author of myhongkonghusband has posted a review of Tiger Tail Soup on her blog. “L,” who describes herself as a “third culture wife,” is a Polish girl married to a hongkonger living in the US. If you haven’t visited her blog yet, you’re in for a treat.

In her most recent post, “Life of a Housewife,” she wrote: “Life of a housewife – not as interesting as Life of Pi, I mean, I haven’t seen the movie but I’m pretty sure last 1.5 year of my life wouldn’t win the Academy Award.”

She doesn’t hold back when describing the difficulties of a young couple starting out in a country that’s foreign to both of them, especially since the wife can’t get a work permit. One of the good points of her situation, she admits, is that “you can watch 5 seasons of ‘Breaking Bad’ in 2 weeks period.”
